When buying solar lights to illuminate public areas such as walkways, parking areas, recreational facilities or storage area, you probably need fixtures a bit stronger and more durable than most people would chose for their homes.
When you buy these lights, make sure you know what you are paying for. Some lights are labelled “industrial,” “commercial” or “residential” based on the people marketing teams think will buy the products. (There is no technical definition of exactly what a “Commercial Solar Light” is and is not.)
