Please don’t be duped by some store or bogus charity. These are all well-established agencies with A or A-plus ratings from American Institute of Philanthropy.

Happy Veterans Day…Thanks to Our Troops and Lend Your Support
Today is Veterans Day. It’s always on November 11 because the armistice to end World War I was signed the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 2013.
Which is trivia. What is not trivial is my deep gratitude to our Vets and my hope that all who read this will support them, now and as they need it in the future.

Monday, November 11, 2013 is Veterans Day.
To many people, it’s just another reason for a sale. We disagree.

Since Vietnam, the rate of severely wounded men and women who have survived their injuries has continued to increase dramatically.
American Veterans range from teenagers recently home from Iran and Afghanistan (and often places you’ve never heard of) to elderly men and women who served in World War II, Korea, Vietnam and other special military operations. Continue reading
